A principal at the Marabella North Secondary school is being criticized after he referred to teachers and students as “incompetent” following a “water war” which damaged furniture at the school.
• The principal made this and other statements, in which several parents have expressed serious concern over while addressing students and pupils during an assembly earlier this week after furniture at block e of the school was severely damaged during a “water war” among several students.
• The principal’s issued a stern warning to the students saying that that type of behavior will not be accepted, was recorded by a student at the school and shared on social media.
• The principal also said that he will no longer be signing social welfare forms for students and all fundraising activities at the school will be ceased with immediate effects noting that “peter will pay for Paul and Paul will pay for all” regarding the destruction of the furniture.
• Many parents have expressed their disgust with the statements of the principal and are calling for an immediate investigation by the ministry of education and the teaching service
