A polite bandit robbed a security guard of $300,000 cash in St. James on Monday after the cash was withdrawn from a commercial bank.
• The suspect, who approached his victim and said “good afternoon” snatched a bag in the man’s hands which contained $300,000 the victim had moments earlier collected from Republic Bank at Long Circular Mall.
• Police said the incident happened around 3pm as the victim was opening the door to enter his workplace at Bournes Road in St. James.
• The suspect, police said, approached the victim, said good afternoon, and snatched the bag with the cash before running along Bournes Road.
