A PH taxi driver was shot and killed by one of his passengers near a Roti shop at Orange Grove Road in St. Augustine on Saturday 3rd December 2022.
• The deceased has been identified as 37-year-old Shemel Cornwall of Dookiesingh Street, St. Augustine. He was shot dead moments after he dropped off three passengers, one a male and two females, at Orange Grove Road, St. Augustine.
• Around 1:20pm on Saturday, Cornwall brought his vehicle to a stop at the side of the roadway near Ravi’s Hotspot Roti Shop when he was shot twice in the head by the male passenger who fled in company with two women.
• The victim’s car then crashed into a wall at the side of the roadway where he died.
