A pensioner was shot and killed after gunmen opened fire on a vehicle driving along Cameron hill in Maraval last night:
• The deceased has been identified as 63-year-old Farell Toussaint.
• Reports state around 7:30pm, Toussaint was in the front passenger seat of a blue Nissan Frontier driven by a man from the area while his Toussaint’s 36-year-old son was in the back seat.
• They were proceeding along Cameron Hill when a black car sped past them and turned around, racing in their direction.
• The car’s occupants began shooting at the Nissan Frontier, hitting Toussaint multiple times.
• The driver rushed him to the St James Medical Complex where he was pronounced dead. Investigations are continuing
