A man was stabbed to death during an altercation with a man known to him in Princes Town on Saturday 01st April, 2023.
• The deceased was identified as 34-year-old Kerry Skeete aka Parrot, of Claude Avenue in Princes Town and Gasparillo, while the suspect was identified as Kevin Wilson.
• At about 2:45pm Skeete was liming and drinking outside a parlour near his home in Cemetery Street St. Croix Road in Princes Town in the company of Wilson and his sister Melissa Wilson, when an argument ensued between both men.
• Skeete reportedly confronted Wilson, who slapped him in the face.
• Skeete allegedly left, and later returned with a piece of iron and approached the suspect.
• Wilson’s sister, who saw the commotion, attempted to part the argument between both men, when she was hit in the head with the piece of iron and collapsed.
• Skeete allegedly approached Wilson again, when he pulled out a knife and stabbed him twice in the chest.
• The police and paramedics were notified, and Skeete was rushed to the Princes Town District Hospital where he succumbed to his wounds while undergoing treatment.
• Wilson was later arrested.
