A man was shot dead at his home in St. Thomas Street, Tunapuna on Wednesday 15th March 2023.
• The victim has been identified as 34-year-old Keon Alexander Alexander of #18 St. Thomas Street, Tunapuna Road, Tunapuna.
• Around 9:00 pm, Alexander was outside his home in company with other persons when several gunshots rang out.
• His 62-year-old father, who was about to retire to his bed, later made a check and found his son with gunshot injuries in the yard and the police were notified.
• EHS personnel also responded to the shooting but when they arrived Alexander was already dead.
• Crime Scene Investigators found and seized more the 20 spent 9mm shell casings at the scene. Investigations are continuing into the incident by officers of the Region 2 Homicide Bureau of Investigations
