A man was shot dead at a car wash in Claxton Bay early on Wednesday 19th April, 2023.
• The deceased has been identified as 33-year-old Daniel Eversley also known by his alias “Ghost”, the owner of a carwash and poultry depot.
• Shortly before 8:00am, Eversley was reportedly opening his car wash at Forres Park, Springvale Junction in Claxton Bay, when he was shot.
• Residents heard the gunshots, and upon investigating, they found him at the back of his business suffering from a gunshot injury and calling out for his girlfriend.
• Eversley was subsequently taken to the Couva Health facility, where he succumbed to his injuries
