A man was shot and killed near the Morvant Fire Station early on Friday 5th May 2023.
• The deceased was identified as 59-year-old Ricardo Francois of Sea View Hill, Carenage.
• Around 6:15am, officers were informed of a shooting at the corner of Galba St and Lady Young Avenue, Morvant.
• When they arrived at the scene, they observed a black Nissan B-14 motor vehicle Registered PBA 7623, with Francis slumped in the driver’s seat nursing a gunshot injury.
• Francis was taken to the Port of Spain General Hospital for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries
