• The deceased was identified as 27-year-old Christopher Christian while the injured victim was identified as his father, 66-year-old Matthew Perez Christan both of Connector Road, Carlsen Field.
• Around 5:45am, Christian and his father were at their home when four masked men entered and announced a robbery.
• A struggle ensued, during which the armed suspects shot both victims, killing Christopher at the scene.
• The suspects made good their escape and residents who heard the loud explosions investigated and discovered both men with gunshot wounds.
• The police were notified and Matthew was taken to the hospital where he was listed in critical condition.
• A DMO was also summoned to the scene, viewed Christopher’s body, made a pronouncement and ordered it be removed from the scene.
• Investigations are ongoing.
