A man was shot and killed inside a vehicle at Cantaro Village in Santa Cruz outside a pan yard overnight.
• Initial reports on the incident states that 35-year-old Aziz Diaz aka “Z” of Mitchell Street, Santa Cruz, was at the Pan Jammerz Panyard when he left and entered the driver’s seat of his blue Hyundai Accent motor car registration # PDR 7290 which was parked along Chicquito Drive Santa Cruz.
• The victim was shot multiple times by unknown persons and he reversed his car for approximately a quarter of a mile before it crashed into another car which was parked along Parang Boulevard, Cantaro Crescent.
• Diaz then ran out of the vehicle and into a nearby yard and the police were notified. PC Powell and Williams responded and took Diaz to the Mt. Hope Hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.
• The victim was shot multiple times in the body.
