The deceased was identified as Jaffett Williams. He died at the scene inside a yard after being shot in the face.
The incident happened at Teelucksingh Street East, California just after 2pm.
It is reported that a Nissan AD wagon motor car pulled up alongside the victim and the occupants opened fire before fleeing.
