A man was shot and killed at Romain Lands in Morvant on Thursday 10th August, 2023.
• The deceased was identified as 34-year-old Marshall Charles Gibson aka “Wiggles” of Romain Lands, Morvant.
• At around 8:00am residents heard a series of explosions.
• Upon investigating, they discovered Gibson lying face down in a pool of blood covered in gunshot injuries.
• They immediately contacted the police but by the time they arrived at the scene, Gibson had succumbed to his wounds.
The last murder that took place in the Morvant area was on Thursday 25th May, 2023, when 23-year-old Jameel Gay also known by his alias “Jah” died after he was shot in Matapal Street, Morvant.
