A man was shot and killed at his Sangre Grande home on Thursday 08th June, 2023.
• The deceased was identified as 19-year-old Arnim Karim of Lady Bird Avenue, Northeastern Settlement, Sangre Grande.
• At around 1:45am, Karim was asleep at his home, when he was reportedly called out by someone known to him.
• Shortly after, several loud explosions rang out.
• Relatives who heard the gunshots, went to investigate, when they found Karim, lying motionless in the yard, with a gunshot wound to the head.
• A report was made and the officers as well as the D.M.O, visited the scene and pronounced Karim dead.
The last murder that took place in the Sangre Grande area was on Thursday 25th May, 2023, when a man identified as Kerwin Coa aka “Chatter” of Damarie Hill, was shot and killed in Milk Road, Turure, Sangre Grande.
