A man was found dead in his apartment in Tunapuna on Saturday 01st April, 2023.
• The deceased has been identified as 34-year-old Marsell Joseph who was employed as a Chef at Club Royal Caribbean Casino at X-tra Plaza, Endeavour, Chaguanas.
• Around 5:00pm, Marsell’s landlady contacted the police after she got a foul stench coming from inside his apartment at Toussaint Lane, Auzonville Road, Tunapuna.
• When PC Ottley and WPC Augustine of the Tunapuna Police Station arrived at the scene, the landlady opened the apartment and they discovered Marcell’s decomposing body lying on his bed.
• The DMO, Dr. Rahaman was summoned to the scene, viewed Marsel’s body and ordered it to be taken to the Forensic Sciences Centre in St. James to conduct an autopsy.
• Marcell was reportedly last seen on Monday 27th March, 2023, after he complained of not feeling well.
