A man only identified as Marlon was injured following a shooting at his home in Pleasantville, San Fernando on Monday 28th August, 2023.
• Around 10:00am, the victim was at his home in Coconut Boulevard, Pleasantville, when several loud explosions were heard.
• Marlon sustained a gunshot injury to the left arm and was taken to the San Fernando General Hospital where he received medical treatment.
• A report was made to the police and the responding officers were informed that a white Nissan Tiida stopped in front of Marlon’s house, and a gunman, wearing a hoodie and mask, got out and started shooting, causing the residents to scatter.
• He then got back into the car and fled the scene.
• The officers then conducted further investigations and observed several bullet holes in a car parked at the front of the house, as well as in the gallery and front door.
• Based on additional information received, the suspect’s vehicle was found abandoned at Tuesday Street, Off Cipero Road, San Fernando earlier this morning.
