A man who is only known by the name Nigel, was stabbed to death during a fight with another man over $10 outside a shack where he lived at Prizgar Road in San Juan early on Tuesday 4th January, 2023.
• This lates killing has pushed the murder toll for the year thus far to 7.
• Around 1:40am, officers of the North Eastern Division Task Force responded to a report about a stabbing at #48 Prizgar Road, San Juan.
• When they got to the scene, they found Nigel in the yard of a nearby residence nursing a stab wound to the back of the head. He was taken to the Mt. Hope Hospital after he showed signs of life but was declared dead around 2am by doctors.
• Nigel was stabbed by a man known as Indian who dropped the murder weapon and fled the scene on foot. After he was stabbed, Nigel climbed over a neighbour’s yard where he called for help. Investigations are continuing into the incident.
