A man identified as Wendell George also known by his alias “Fingers” was shot dead at his home in Antigua Road, Wallerfield on Friday 02nd December, 2022.
• Around 6:40am first responders, responded to a report of a shooting, where they observed George lying motionless at the back of his house with multiple gunshot injuries about the body.
• Reportedly, George was washing his yard when he was approached by two armed men.
• George ran to the back of his house to avoid the assailants; however, they pursued him, shooting him multiple times before fleeing the scene.
• He was a known firearm and drug offender and his name was called in a recent murder within the Sangre Grande police district
