A man identified as Joshua Wells was shot and killed in Longdenville on Sunday 23rd July, 2023.
• Around 8:10 p.m., Wells was at Penco Avenue, Longdenville when a vehicle pulled up next to him and fired several shots.
• Residents of the area heard the loud explosions and went to investigate when they found Wells bleeding from multiple gunshot injuries.
• The police and emergency health services were notified, however, by the time they arrived at the scene, Wells had already succumbed to his wounds. The last murder that took place in the Longdenville area was on Sunday 21st May, 2023, when 32-year-old Steven Suraj aka “Fatboy” and 32-year-old Tyrel Bosse aka “Redman” were gunned down while liming in Thompson Trace, Longdenville.
