A man identified as 30-year-old Kareem Quashie, of #4 Almond Drive, Morvant, was shot and killed near his home on Saturday 29th October, 2022.
• Around 9:15pm, officers who were on mobile patrol in the area responded to a report of a shooting.
• upon arrival, they discovered Quashie’s body lying motionless in a pool of blood, covered in gunshot injuries.
• Quashie’s uncle, 50-year-old Terrence Quashie, told officers that the deceased was sitting in a chair along Almond drive, among other men, when a Silver aqua approached.
• The group of men reportedly shouted out to the occupants of the aqua to dim their lights, when they pulled out there and began shooting.
• The group scattered and the assailants continued pursuing Quashie, shooting him several times about the body, before fleeing the scene.
• Quashie was pronounced dead at the scene of the SHOOTING.
