A Laventille man was shot while walking in a river behind a house in St Joseph on Friday 21st July, 2023.
• The injured man was identified as 32-year-old Keron Jack of Snake Valley, Laventille.
• Shortly after 3:00pm, Jack was reportedly walking in the river behind a house along Farm Road Extension, with a man he only knows by his alias “Grimey”, when several gunshots were heard.
• Both men ran off and shortly after, Jack observed that he had been shot.
• Jack was subsequently taken to the Mt. Hope Hospital by passers-by where he was treated for gunshot injuries to the back and arms and Grimey is yet to be found.
