A La Brea man was gunned down while attending a Christmas lime at a friend’s home in Pleasantville, San Fernando, early on Christmas Morning.
• 35-year-old Randall Belgrave a proprietor of Secondary Avenue in La Brea died while undergoing emergency treatment at the San Fernando General Hospital on Sunday 25th December, 2022.
• Shortly after 2am, Belgrave was at the home of his 30-year-old friend at Orchid Gardens in Pleasantville, San Fernando, when a man, with his face covered with a bandana, approached and told the friend “Move dey”, before firing several shots at Belgrave and escaping in a waiting vehicle.
• Belgrave was taken to the San Fernando General Hospital where he died while undergoing emergency surgery.
• Doctors have since prevented the police from accessing, viewing, examining and processing the body of the deceased saying they must first inform his relatives about his death.
• Supt. Carthy of the Southern Division and Insp. Jones of the Region 3 Homicide Bureau of Investigations were among the officers who visited the scene.
