A fracas between a group of Venezuelans at a bar in Arima last night has left two of the victims in critical condition at the hospital with stab injuries.
• The injured men have been identified as Venezuelans 27-year-old Marco Garcia of Arima and 40-year-old Nande Jose.
• Around 11pm on Sunday 30th October, 2022, the victims were liming at Harry’s Bar located at Hollis Avenue, Arima when they got into an altercation with a group of Venezuelans.
• A fracas ensued and both men were stabbed about their bodies by the suspects who fled the scene.
• The injured men were taken to the Arima District Hospital where they were treated and transferred to the Mt. Hope Hospital in critical condition.
• PC Seetaram of the Arima CID is probing the incident.
