A family lime ended in tragedy on Saturday night after 35-year-old Sharaz Mohammed of Goodman Street, Gasparillo, was killed as he attempted to cross the road in Valencia.
• Police were told that Mohammed was with a group of friends and family including his wife, from an excursion in Toco, when the party bus stopped at the Hangout Bar along the main road.
• Mohammed attempted to cross the roadway and was hit by a black Toyota Hilux which was proceeding in an easterly direction. He died at the scene.
