A dismembered body was found in the waters off Williams’s Bay, Chaguaramas by dragon boat athletes who were training on Sunday 2nd October 2022.
• Reports stated that the boaters noticed an object floating in the water as well as a strong smell while they training around 8 am.
• When they reached closer they noticed the toes as well as a whole foot. they immediately left the scene and went to shore to seek assistance, however, while paddling back, they noticed the torso and one side of an arm in the water.
• According to police, they believe the dismembered body who was only identified as a male was disposed of in garbage bags close to the water before high tide pulled it into the sea.
