A 4-year-old, identified as Mafer Guevaro of Williamsville, was found at the bottom of a pool at a residence in East Gate Trincity.
Guevaro was rushed to the Medical Associates Private Hospital in St. Joseph where she was declared dead after many attempts to resuscitate her were unsuccessful.
Investigations into the incident are being conducted by the Arouca Police.
