A businesswoman was ambushed and gunned down outside her home in San Fernando, early Saturday 5th August 2023:
• 43-year-old Allison De Leon of Jinjul Street, Phillipine, San Fernando was executed shortly after 6 a.m. as she left her home.
• CCTV footage of the incident showed De Leon trying to escape when she realized her life was in danger, Seconds after she drove off from her home in her Range Rover.
• De Leon, a mother of four, and her late husband, Nestor, who died from COVID-19 last January, owned De Leon’s Banana Ltd – a company that buys and sells bananas to supermarkets and other businesses.
• According to reports, Frustrated by people she knew well, who kept taunting her and her children about her deceased husband’s money.
• “Come for me now,” she told people in her family circle whom she had once been close to on social media.
• Southern Division and Homicide Bureau Region III police are continuing the investigation.
