A businessman escaped being abducted in Petit Valley on Wednesday 24th August 2022 by several men dressed in tactical police wear and armed with machine guns after they were confronted by the real police.
• There was a shootout but the suspects managed to flee the scene and their vehicle, which was riddled with bullets, was later recovered and towed to the Four Roads Police Station.
The shooting spilt at the intersection of the Diego Martin Highway and involved officers from the Emergency Response Patrol.
