A 62-year-old man was found chopped to death inside his Arouca home which he shared with his elderly mother who is an amputee.
• The deceased has been identified as 62-year-old Devanand Supersad aka Devo of #52 Ricemill Road, Eastern Main Road Arouca.
• Supersad was chopped to death inside his home during the early hours on Monday 16th January, 2023.
• He lived at the home with his elderly mother who is an amputee and has a hearing disability.
• Shortly after 11am today, a relative went to the house to check on the 83-year-old woman and discovered Supersad murdered in a pool of blood.
• Inspector John, Woman Sgt. Davis of the Region 2 Homicide Bureau of Investigations were among the officers at the crime scene.
• The woman, a family member told us, had absolutely no idea her son was murdered inside their home.
