A 60-year-old man was gunned down during a robbery at Ibis Lane, Pleasantville San Fernando on Monday 20th March 2023.
• The deceased has been identified as Anthony Andrews who also lived in the Pleasantville community. He was shot multiple times by a bandit pretending to be a passenger.
• The suspects also stole Andrews’ white Suzuki Ciaz motor car Registration PDU 5752 which was later found abandoned in the area.
• Police said around 7:20pm, Andrews stopped to pick up two male passengers along Ibis Lane. One of the men sat in the front seat while the other in the back passenger seat.
• One of the suspects pulled out a gun and announced a robbery and there was a struggle and Andrews was shot.
He stumbled out of the vehicle and the suspects drove off with the car which was later found abandoned in the area.
