A 54-year-old mechanic, identified as Vishnu Rahim, was shot and killed while in a hammock at his St. Julien Road, Princes Town home on Thursday 21st July, 2022.
Around 3:10pm, Rahim was in company with his wife outside his home when a Nissan Tiida motor car pulled up and a man emerged from the back seat.
The suspect, who had a gun, approached the couple and ordered them not to run or move. He then opened fire on Rahim.
The victim was taken to the Princes Town District Hospital by his children but he succumbed to his injuries.
