A 33-year-old man was found shot to death outside a vehicle police believe he was driving along B’s Road, Caroni North Bank Road in Piarco during the early hours on Tuesday 25th October, 2022.
• The deceased has been identified as 33-year-old Curtis Patterson who had addresses in Ste. Madeleine, Coffee Street San Fernando, Stanleyville, Arima, Golconda, Mon Repos and Pleasantville.
• Patterson lost one of his legs during a police-involved shooting and also survived a previous attempt on his life after he was shot in the head.
• According to police around 2am, officers responded to a report about a shooting at B’s Road, Caroni North Bank Road, Piarco, and when they arrived, they found Patterson on the roadway with gunshot injuries about the body.
• Not too far away was a black Hyundai Tucson SUV which had crashed into a drain. Police believe Patterson was killed by persons inside the vehicle who fled the scene in another vehicle.
• Several spent 5.56 spent shells and 12-gauge casings were recovered at the scene.
