A 33-year-old Derrick Stoute was gunned down while visiting his girlfriend at her Chaconia Drive, Pleasantville, San Fernando home on Wednesday 2nd November, 2022.
• Around 7:15 pm on Wednesday 2nd November, 2022 police officers attached to the Mon Repos Police were on mobile patrol when they received a report of a shooting at Tulip Drive, Pleasantville, from an anonymous caller.
• The first responders proceeded to the scene at # 11 Tulip Drive, Pleasantville and on their arrival, they were told that around 6:45 pm several loud explosions were heard on a pathway linking Chaconia Drive and Tulip Drive, followed by screams for help.
• Stoute was later discovered with gunshot injuries on the walkway outside his girlfriend’s apartment.
• He was conveyed to the San Fernando General Hospital’s Accident and Emergency Department but succumbed to his injuries around 7:16pm.
