A 26-year-old father of one was found shot and burnt to death at his Hislop Trace (The Blanca), Upper Cascade Road home early on Tuesday 6th September, 2022.
• Akiel Ash, who was not involved in criminal activities, was discovered after two gunshots were heard in the area just after 2am and smoke was seen coming from his room.
• Residents rushed to his home and discovered him dead outside.
• They were able to extinguish the blaze which was contained in a small area inside the victim’s home.
• Ash, who originally hailed from Mt. D’or, Champ Fleurs, worked construction and was the father of an 8-year-old boy.
