A 22-year-old Laventille man was shot and killed near his home just after 12 midnight on Sunday 2nd October, 2022.
• The deceased has been identified Josiah George of Buller Street, Laventille. He was found shot to death in some bushes near his home by a relative who notified the police.
• The EHS was summoned but George was already dead. He was shot multiple times about the body and 11 spent shells were found at the scene along with other items of evidential value.
