A coconut vendor was reportedly shot and killed while another man was injured in Tumpuna Road, Arima on Wednesday 28th June, 2023.
• The deceased was identified as 17-year-old Marlon Paul while the injured victim remains unnamed.
• The coconut vendor was operating opposite Rambaran bar near the traffic lights in Tumpuna Road, when a cream ad wagon reg# PBC 1456 approached.
• Four occupants alighted from the vehicle and fired several shots hitting the vendor and another man.
• The coconut vendor died at the scene while the injured man was taken to the hospital for treatment.
