A 16-year-old teenager was among two persons shot and wounded in Tunapuna on the night of Tuesday 15th November 2022. • The victims are 16-year-old Nickiel Reefer and 28-year-old Shaquille Daniel, both of St. Vincent Street, Tunapuna.
• Around 8:30pm, both victims were walking along Water Lane, off St. Vincent Street, when a black Nissan Tiida hatchback approached. • The suspects opened fire on Reefer and Daniel who ran in separate directions.
• Both victims were taken to the Mt Hope Hospital by responding officers and police said Daniel refused medical treatment and left the hospital. Reefer was shot in the shoulder and leg while Daniel sustained flesh wounds.
