9-year-old Javan Price and another man remains fighting for their lives in hospital after they were shot during an incident at Mon Repos Road in Morvant which left one man dead and another child injured on Tuesday 16th August, 2022.
• 49-year-old Eusibo Roberts aka “Sibo” of Mon Repos, Morvant, died at the hospital after gunmen emerged from a car and opened fire on him and another man identified by the alias “Plaits” while they were liming under a shed at the corner of Mon Repos
• Plaits attempted to run through the basketball court where children were playing football and the gunmen pursued and continued firing.
• Javan and other boys began running and as they tried to escape through an open gate and were shot in the process. Javan collapsed on the roadway a short distance from his home and was taken to the hospital where he underwent emergency surgery earlier today.
