• Around 2:45am on Sunday 31st July, 2022 four (4) armed men, all in their twenties, pulled up to Norco Market & Liquor store.
• As one of them stormed the store with a rifle, shouting, “Hands in the air,” the 80-year-old store owner was ready for him- having seen the men putting on ski masks on the security cameras outside.
• The suspect pointed his weapon and the store owner didn’t hesitate to open fire on the would-be robber, causing him to flee the store bawling.
• The suspects and the wounded man were later arrested by police in a stolen BMW SUV which had a cache of stolen weapons.
