A man who was found with gunshot injuries about the body outside his Piarco home last week, succumbed to his injuries at hospital on Saturday.
• 54-year-old Mark Anthony Corraspe passed away at the Mt. Hope Hospital from gunshot injuries he sustained on Tuesday 3rd January, 2023 at his Kelly Trace, Piarco home.
• Around 10:45 pm on Tuesday, a relative of the victim was at his home when he heard several gunshots coming from Corraspe’s home. He called him on his cell phone but got no response.
• The man, police said, went to the house and discovered his uncle lying in the yard suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds to his face and back of his head.
• Cpl. Binda and PC Murray of the ERP responded to the shooting along with EHS personnel who took Corraspe to the Mt. Hope Hospital.
