42-year-old Dwayne Reid of circular road, San Fernando, was shot dead at Mitchell Street South Oropouche, just after 1:30am on Monday 15th August, 2022.
• A 29-year-old south Oropouche man, who claimed to be Reid’s friend, told officers that Reid showed up at his home around midnight and asked to be dropped off at Mitchell Street to collect a car he rented to one of his customers.
• The friend dropped Reid off along the main road and watched him walk into a street, to the house.
• Moments later, Reid was seen driving the vehicle out of the street and was shot by the suspect who claimed to be the owner of the vehicle.
• Reid died at the scene of the shooting and officers found his body slumped in the driver’s seat.
