41-year-old Nazarali Rahim of Kelly Street, Carapo was shot and killed by a police officer while driving his car along the Aranguez Main Road after the officer claimed Rahim attempted to run him over with his vehicle.
• It is alleged that the officer, identified as Sgt. Joseph was almost knocked down while standing in the vicinity of Carlos Bar Aranguez by a white Toyota 101 Corolla driven by Rahim.
• According to the police report, Rahim made an attempt to run over the officer, who then in his defense drew his license firearm and shot the vehicle.
• The car then sped off in the southern direction along the Aranguez main road and crashed into a black Kia reo PDZ 677.
• Rahim, who was shot several times, died at the scene.
