A man identified as 35-year-old Jomo Drayton of water lane, Tunapuna was shot dead near his home on Friday 20th January, 2023.
• Drayton was waiting at the end of his driveway when he was ambushed by gunmen who were dressed in dark colored clothing.
• The gunmen opened fire on Drayton who was hit while attempting to flee.
• The suspects then got back into their dark grey-colored motor vehicle and made their escape.
• A neighbour in the area took Drayton to Mt Hope Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
• Homicide detectives visited the crime scene where they recovered over thirty spent shells.
