32-year-old Rodney Charles of Papourie Road was gunned down moments after he arrived at a house at Picton St. Ext. Diamond Village, San Fernando, to burst Bamboo on Saturday 22nd October, 2022.
• 30-year-old Dillon Hosein of Picton Settlement, who was standing nearby when the gunmen attack happened, sustained a gunshot wound to the right arm.
• Police said around 9.25 p.m. Charles went to a neighbour’s home and said he came to burst bamboo with him and other residents.
• Fifteen minutes later, two men wearing dark clothing and masks, armed with firearms approached Charles and shot him about the body.
• At the time of the shooting Charles, two men and a ten-year-old boy were bursting bamboo in the yard of one of the residents
• Hosein, who was standing nearby, was also shot in his right arm.
