After attending a party in Diego Matin late last night, 3 persons from Laventille, two teenagers, were shot and killed by police officers at the corner of Chacon Street and Independence Square in Port of Spain.
Two of the dead person have been identified as 21-year-old Fabien Richards and his 15-year-old cousin Isaiah Roberts.
Six males were in a white Toyota Aqua motor car that crashed into Republic Bank during the shooting. Even the glass on the Chacon Street side of the bank sustained bullet injuries.
Two marked police vehicles, one belonging to the Guard and Emergency Branch (GEB) were also damaged and it took crime scene investigators hours to process the scene littered with spent shells.
