26-year-old Rianna Victoria Mohammed, of mc Inroy Street, Curepe, was shot dead at Hoyte Avenue, Maturita in Arima on Wednesday 17th August, 2022.
• Mohammed’s mother said she believed her daughter was killed because she was having an affair with a married man who is a member of the defence force.
• According to Nalinee Mohammed, her daughter loved to party, lime and drink with friends and had absolutely no reason to be in the area where she was killed.
• Nalinee said she believes Rianna was put in place to be killed by a man known to her. She was a former employee at pennywise in Grand Bazaar but did not have her contract renewed because of the partying lifestyle she lived, Nalinee said.
• Nalinee blamed her daughter’s lifestyle for her death and the company she kept adding that she did her best as a mother to raise and provide for her 3 children, including Rianna.
