25-year-old Ishmael Alexander of Hill Top Avenue, Cedar Hill Road, Claxton Bay, was gunned down outside the home of a relative last night.
Alexander was liming with other persons outside at #5 Harry Baccus Trace when several gunshots rang out.
His mother heard the gunshots and rushed over to discover Alexander lying on a dirt area with gunshot injuries to his body
The police and Emergency Health Services were contacted but he had already succumbed to his injuries.
Investigations are continuing into the incident.
