• Around 1am, the deceased was shot multiple times about the body by a gunman who walked up to him at the side of the roadway, at Pipiol Road, Cantaro Road, Santa Cruz.
• Maitland ran across the other side of the road where he collapsed. He was taken to the Eric Williams Medical Science complex where he was pronounced dead.
