17-year-old Enrique Graves of El Dorado Tunapuna, was hit by a car while selling water along the Churchill Roosevelt Highway in Macoya on Independence Day.
• According to the teenager’s grandmother Charmain Graves, the incident has left Enrique in a critical condition at the Mt. Hope Hospital and the driver of the vehicle failed to stop and render assistance.
• The car involved in the accident, she said, was later discovered impounded at the Tunapuna Police Station and officers at that station have given the family a hard time in getting simple questions answered.
