A man was shot and wounded near his home in Carapichaima early on Tuesday 16th May, 2023.
• The victim was identified as 23-year-old Darrius McDonald of Mungal Trace, Orange Field Road, Carapichaima.
• Around 12:30am, McDonald was standing near his home, when a man of African descent approached him.
• The suspect pulled out a firearm and fired two shots, hitting the man on his right hand and left leg, before fleeing the scene.
• A report was made and the victim was taken to the hospital where he was treated and warded in stable condition.
