A 13 year old school boy was rushed to the Rio Claro Health Facility on Monday after he reportedly ingested a poisonous substance.
Upon investigating, PC Abraham and officers of the Rio Claro Police station found a silver packet with the words “Storm Wax Bait” at the scene. This is said to be used in getting rid of rats and mice.
The boy was transferred to the Sangre Grande District Hospital where he remains in stable condition.
Investigations are continuing.
